I attended a calligraphy workshop taught by Gian and I all I have to say is WOW! I was amazed by EVERYTHING she offered. from the content of the course to the space where it was held. You can tell she really cared about giving it all and teaching this workshop with professionalism and most importantly with love, She truly is an inspiration. I went in with expectations of just to have fun and learn the skill because it's beautiful, but after the class was done I had the sense of just wanting to learn more and more of this technique it is such an incredible skill to have. I am planning on registering for more workshops and I highly recommend you do too TRUST ME YOU WON'T REGRET IT! ( do it with your girlfriends - it is SO SO fun!) |
The intro to modern calligraphy workshop was by far the best creative learning workshops I have ever done. The workshop was very hands on, getting right into practice with lots of time still to chat and ask questions. It was a very supportive and fun environment. Gian is so personable, knowledgeable and encouraging. You can feel her passion for what she does and her joy in sharing it. Thank you Gian! I took Gian’s workshop in Red Deer in 2018. I was so excited to learn how to properly execute brush lettering. Little did I know, her workshop would help me develop my own personal skills I needed to open up my own little calligraphy side gig - which has been quite successful! Gian’s workshop is uplifting, fun, and she is such an amazing motivator during (and after) the workshop. I would highly recommend taking her workshop if you’re interested in learning how to add style to your writing, and it is perfect for a group of friends or solo! |
